Terms of use

These terms are the agreement between you and Syon Creative Limited for the use of Zoshl. By using Zoshl you accept them. Please read them: they say what we do, what we charge, what is yours and what we are responsible for.

1. Who we are

Zoshl is a service of Syon Creative Limited, a company registered in England with company number 08954806, whose registered office is 7a Abbey Business Park, Monks Walk, Farnham, Surrey, GU9 8HT, United Kingdom.

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Syon Creative Limited, and "you" means the person or business using Zoshl. You can reach us at hello@syon.com or through the contact form on our home page.

2. What Zoshl does

Zoshl helps small businesses make social media content. You describe a business, add your own photos, clips and music if you have them, and Zoshl writes and lays out posts, carousels, short videos and talking head videos for you to download and post yourself.

Zoshl writes using artificial intelligence, and it designs in your brand's colours and typeface. It does not post anything to your social media accounts, and it does not manage your accounts for you.

3. Your account

• You sign in with your email address and a code we email you. There is no password.
• Keep access to that email address secure. Anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
• You must be at least 18 and, if you are using Zoshl for a business, entitled to act for it.
• One account is for one person. Tell us if you need several people to have their own.
• Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.

4. Plans, credit and payment

Zoshl has three plans, and what each includes is shown on our home page.

• Trial. Free, with a small amount of credit to try Zoshl on your own business. We may change or withdraw the trial at any time.
• Pro. Pay as you go. You buy credit, and each piece of writing takes a little of it. There is no subscription. The price of each piece is shown as you make it.
• Enterprise. You connect your own Anthropic account and pay Anthropic directly for the writing, with a fee to us agreed separately.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it takes the payment, handles any tax due, and makes any refund.

Prices are in US dollars. Credit you have bought does not expire, and it has no cash value: it can be used for writing in Zoshl and nothing else. We can change our prices, and the amount of credit a piece of writing takes, but a change never affects credit you have already used.

If you are a consumer, you have a right to cancel a purchase within 14 days. By buying credit and using it straight away you ask us to begin at once and accept that the right to cancel is lost for the credit you have used. Credit you have not used can be refunded within those 14 days. Nothing here affects your legal rights. Our refund policy says what can be refunded and how to ask.

5. Storage

Every plan includes an amount of storage for the photos, clips, music and recordings you upload, shown on the Storage page in your account. Past it:

• On Trial and Enterprise, nothing more can be uploaded until you delete something.
• On Pro you can carry on, and a small monthly charge for the extra storage is taken from your credit. It is never more than the credit you have, and with none it is not taken at all.

We do not delete your files for being over your allowance. We may contact you if storage is left unpaid for a long time, and we will give you notice before doing anything about it.

6. Your content, and what Zoshl makes

What you upload stays yours. Photos, clips, music, recordings, your business description and anything else you put into Zoshl belong to you. You give us permission to store them and to use them to provide the service to you, including sending what is needed to the companies listed in our privacy policy.

What Zoshl makes for you is yours to use. As between you and us, the posts, carousels, videos and captions Zoshl produces for you are yours, and you can use them commercially. Similar content may be produced for other people, so we cannot promise it is unique, and you should not assume you can register it as a trade mark.

Zoshl itself stays ours. The service, its software, its designs and its brand are ours and our licensors'. Nothing here gives you any right in them beyond using the service.

You promise that what you upload and what you ask for:

• is yours, or that you have permission to use it, including any music and stock photography;
• has the consent of anyone recognisable in it, including anyone you film through a filming link;
• does not break the law or anyone else's rights.

7. Artificial intelligence, and checking what you post

Zoshl writes with artificial intelligence. It can be wrong, and it can sound confident while being wrong. You are responsible for what you post. Before posting, check that it is accurate, that any claim about your business is true, that any figure is right, and that it meets the rules of your trade or profession and of the platform you post it on.

Zoshl is not legal, financial, medical or other professional advice, and it must not be used to give any.

8. Using Zoshl properly

You must not:

• use Zoshl for anything unlawful, misleading, hateful, or harmful to others;
• make content that impersonates a real person or another business;
• upload anything you do not have the rights to;
• try to break, overload or get around the security of Zoshl or its limits;
• resell Zoshl, or use it as a way to give other people access to artificial intelligence;
• use automated means to take data out of Zoshl.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep Zoshl available and improving, but we do not promise it will never be unavailable. We may change how it works, add things and take things away. If a change is significant and affects you, we will tell you.

Zoshl depends on other companies, including the one whose artificial intelligence writes your content. If one of them is unavailable, part of Zoshl may be unavailable too.

10. Ending it

You can stop using Zoshl whenever you like, and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where we are required to by law. If we close your account and you have not broken these terms, we will refund credit you have not used.

When an account is closed, the content and files in it are deleted. Download anything you want to keep before asking us to close it.

11. What we are responsible for

Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable, for content you chose to post, or for the accuracy of what artificial intelligence writes, which is why these terms ask you to check it.

If you use Zoshl for business, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of opportunity, and our total liability to you in any twelve month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed. If a change matters to you we will tell you by email or in the service. Carrying on using Zoshl after a change means you accept it.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute. If you live in another part of the United Kingdom, you can also bring a claim in the courts there.
